jep … gute besserung
Join the club… Although I’m already past the worst of it…
I just can’t seem to get over the hump. I only get better and worse and better and worse. The net result, though, is feeling like sranje.
What they said.
(Should have worn your kapa.)
Sorry to hear you’re sick. And just when the weather is at its most gorgeous! Hope you;re feeling better soon.
I missed the earlier post about Lipizzaners, which is now closed to comments…Just thought you might be interested in an article posted here, which describes (with some horror) the entry for “Lipizzaner” in a German lexicon (Bertelsmann):
out-sick-3.htm, so this is the third time you got sick in almost 4 years
that’s not so bad. Get well soon.
Michael was sick of the palsy. If you had to spend your whole life on a stretcher, you’d be pretty sick of the palsy too!
so, finally the prepih got you
get well soon.
Michael, get well soon… I know it’s hard to do, but my advice is to take it easy and get plenty of rest, tea and TLC
Better to kill it off now than to let it develo into something more significant… take care.
Some tips:
1) “Gargle with pear schnapps.”
2) “Have of shot of slivovitz.”
3) “Cook some hot tea, then mix in some honey and slivovitz.”
4) “Drink a really cold beer.”
5) “Try some cooked whiskey.”
=)

Wrap a hot towel around your head and then make fists with your toes.
Looks like you have plenty of good advice, Michael…just the same, Stephne and I wish you a speedy recovery!
Now you get some water.
You’re not dying. You just can’t think of anything good to do!
Well, it probably won’t help, but you are not alone, Michael. Yesterday’s Guardian quoted Professor Ron Eccles, director of the Common Cold Centre at Cardiff University, as saying: “Everyone’s sick. It’s that time of year”.
You see! Everyone! And you really can’t be like everyone else! Get better.
yes, get well soon.
Also best wishes from Trubar’s rainy little town
