Don’t Photograph Me, I’ll Photograph You

I don’t know if these cardboard cut-out policemen actually slow people down, but they definitely provide for some truly wonderful photo ops:

One of them was located between Laško and Rimske Toplice. And yes, it slowed me down.

I haven’t seen them around here in kras-primorska. Would love to have one of them at home…

    excellent… 3rd and 4th photo are hillarious…. :D

ps: i hope somebody doesn’t steal this, or even worse… hit it with a car… (latter happened to newly positioned speeding camera on “kacinov klanec”)…

Those are so funny…. If I were still a rowdy teenager, I’d be stealing them. Oh, what the hell, If I saw one in Bulgaria now I’ll probably steal it! Might be a nice way to greet my room mate in his bed room when he returns.

This gives chance for a lot of improvisation. For instance, they could put carboards of Natalija Verboten hitchhiking - That would certainly slow down some drivers :)

Makes me think of that show ‘Operation Kajman’ which is on T.V. here in Sarajevo on various channels at various times.

I agree with Viktor. But how about Sanja Grohar instead?

No, no, I think Viktor had it right the first time.

And I have to say: I like the way the man thinks. I would probably flip my car into a ditch, but I still like the idea.

Garth: Absolutely. I think the police will eventually have to deploy real police to make sure nobody steals the cardboard ones — although that would kind of defeat the whole purpose…

Hehe. If they had Verboten cardboard cut-outs on the road side they wouldn’t be there for very long! I’m sure Michael M. would have “requisitioned” them all in short time. ;P

Terrifying thought, Micheal in a room with an apparent harem of Natalija V.s I want pictures this would be GOOD! in a really BAD way! :)
