Condition of the Rock The Weather
Rock is wet Raining
Rock is dry Not raining
Shadow on ground Sunny
Top is white Snowing
Can’t be seen Fog
Stone is swinging Windy
Stone is bouncing Earthquake
Two stones You drank too much (Don’t fly)
No stone Someone nicked it

The sign is an almost exact copy of this one, except that the final line is different. (In the Slovenian version, the final line is also written in a heavy dialect, which is impossible to translate but adds to the humor.)

    I had a good laugh over this, remembering it from way back…

    BTW, “ziba” is better rendered as “rocking,” not “swinging” (bad pun that way, though) And the last line is in slangy (not to mention vulgar) Serbocroat.
