Not as bad as it looks, though, if you read the comments.
—> Somewhere in Greece, they got all the languages right.
Except “Slovene,” of course. [via Loxias]
—> A big-ass photo of Bled made of 26 photos stitched together.
Incredibly nice, mega-sized goodness here.
—> Slovenia beach.
I love Slovenia’s beautiful sandy white beaches and… wait.. what?
—> Portrait of Miss Slovenia 2004, Živa Vadnov.
And here’s the photographer’s album of Slovenian models on Flickr.
—> Mouth-watering pictures of homemade marmalade.
I think I find these pictures more fun to look at than the Slovenian models…
Have a great weekend!

I doubt Živa ate all that
Maybe she binged and purged?
I hope she at least finished the bottle of wine herself and then put away six more. Otherwise there’s no way she could be Miss Slovenia.
Mmm… I love homemade marmalade… But I only like to watch it, don’t know why. It’s not the same feeling when it is already inside my mouth.
Is it possible that the white beach was really “Slovenska plaža” in Budva?
I just found saw a beautiful here …

Oh … and maybe you are interessted in this post of mine …

they got russian wrong too. it’s probably worse, since it looks like they were trying to get it right, whereas the slovene just seems to be the greek word for slovene
That looks like Slovenska plaža in Budva to me, too. When I was there I thought the name was supposed to mean “Slovak beach” and it really couldn’t look less like Slovakia.
This beach “Slovenska plaža” is from Thailand for sure. You can’t see any beautifull beach like this in Croatia. Look at the boats. They are absolutely not a Croatian style. Thay are from Thailand or surrounding.
I think this must be a beach close to Pho Hoi Island or Krabi. This is where the movie “The Beach” was filmed.
I collected locations of some beautifull beaches from the area on my Microsoft local.live.com map. They are public and you can see them at:
local.live.com/?v=2&cid=2FA6747060BF482D!181&encType=1
It only works with Internet Exporer.
I included some of the basic info and photos because I’m preparing my next photo trip to that area.
But of course the last photo is a photo of Slovene Boka waterfall. You can find it close to Bovec / Soca river.
Well regariding Živa. I can tell you that she prepared a good dinner for us. She cooks pretty well
There was much more food as you can see on this photo and she didn’t eat all that but we helped her
Peter: The link seems to work okay for me in Firefox — quite cool; hope you have a great trip!
Also, if you ever need a towel boy for one of your shoots, please drop me a line. I’m totally good with towels.
