Carniola is ranked higher among blogs than Ms. Verboten is among Slovenian women?!? Get your goddamn priorities straight, people!

Re: blog charst: Isn’t including SiOL blogs in the chart tantamount to cheating? I’m not an expert on search engines, but if Najdi.si does it’s ranking like google, then I’d imagine that SiOL blogs are privilged because they create a tonne of two-way links making within the community.
Or am I totally off the mark?
I like that idea, if only because it would propel me forward to glory. But I have no idea about the technical underpinnings.
Well, we look at the actual search queries not at the amount of links between blogs or anything similar. The charts are not absolute.
For example The Glory of Carniola got to fourth place because we added the query “carniola” although some people use it to search for Festival Carniola.
There are similar “mistakes” for other blogs on the chart as well as on other charts. But we are careful and we use the same rules for one particular category.
I just watched an interesting Belgian culinary travelogue about Slovenia on TV5, a French-language channel available on most Slovenian cable systems. If anyone’s interested, it’s going to be repeated tomorrow, Saturday, at 11:30AM.
The 30-minute program covers Ljubljana, Velika Planina, Radovljica, the Karst, Slovenian Istria, and some other places.
Rok: Thanks for clearing that up. It’s a bit deflating to hear that I rode on the coat-tails of the Carniola Festival.
I knew I should have called my blog “The Glory of Nina Osenar” when I had the chance.
You would betray Natalija Verboten for a few extra clicks??? Michael, I thought you’re more faithful.
Exactly my thought, Sunshine…
But unlike Natalija, Nina is interesting and sort of … attractive. Non?
Oh yes! I’d definitely pick her over Natalija in a second.
