I’m not yet back in black, but man am I close.
Things are calming down and going well. David worked his mojo on the archives, and I’ve been doing some sweeping and tweaking and upgrading.
Regular service should resume shortly.
One question, though, in case anyone knows it: How do I change the spacing? I’d like to have a little more space between paragraphs but am lost as to how to do this. Any tips would help.

Basically a CSS thing. Rather easy to do if you know where to look. Take a peek in you CSS file and look for:
.textbody p
or some variant of it (you may even have to add that one if it’s not declared yet), then look for margin-top property and change to taste.

Email me the CSS file if you get stuck
It’s on the line 178 of your style.css file.
margin: 0pt 0pt 6px;
That 6px is the bottom margin of any paragraph, the other two are the top and left/right margins, respectively. Just change that 6 to whatever suits you.
-It’s better to change the bottom margin and not the top one, because if not the first paragraph could be way too much down.-
Yesterday your favourite Slovenian was host in “Spet doma”, so I expected your post will be about her. Shame on you!
Yaay! AccaDacca!
Does this mean that you will change the look of Carniola? Hope not!
Jernej and Disablez: Thanks for the help. You’ve gifted me with hours of life that would otherwise have been lost.
Davor: You better believe I was watching it, at least the part where she whipped out the rifle and started blowing away a defenseless paper target. Oddly enough, I thought that she was pregnant, but it didn’t seem to be the case last night. Unless spet doma has a really killer CG effects team.
peng: No major changes for now. Just minor tweaks, like: the banners are now static, the little domenca logo, and I’ll try to alter the breaks between paragraphs inshallah.
Glad to hear things are progressing. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Carniola will be fully functional soon.
I think I’m too dysfunctional to ever achieve “fully functioning” status, but I appreciate the well wishes.
We eagerly await your complete return. Although, isn’t it almost time for your annual sojourn to some secret rendevouz on the Jadran? And that week of vacation always seems to extend to a month or so, as is normal when one visits that divine part of the world.
You’re right, it is almost time for the annual summer mass migration to Croatia. Probably in June. Ah, Karlovačko, I can almost taste you already!
Welcome back, yes it is nearly time for the mass migration to the Jadran, mmmm Karlovačko !
Oh, do come on! Karlovačko?!?! Really…
I know it’s heresy, but I can’t help it. If only there was some kind of re-education camp for people like me..
Michael: I know one: it’s in my living room. Why don’t you invite yourself for a visit?
Actually… On your way to Crotatia you’re required to make a pit stop in Ljubljana to take part KDA (Karlovačko Drinkers Anonymous) support group. The treatmen includes sampling various imported (legally and otherwise) beers, lap-dancing and binge drinking in general…
Pengovsky: I said it first!
Though: unlike you, I cannot offer lap-dancing, so I’ve probably lost …
I’m not sure, Alcessa. You may still win. Somehow a lap dance by the esteemed Mr. Pengovsky does not result in pleasant visions dancing in my head. Perhaps the binge-drinking that he alluded to may be the first necessary step before he does the bump-’n-grind.
But then, with Michael, he of the mysterious personal habits, a pro-offered Pengovsky lap-dance is precisely the thing he pines for.
Guess the only thing to do is come back here and see what Michael’s response to the invite is.
Well, my REAL first love in Balkans beers is Sarajevsko Export Quality, BUT on a hot day, I don’t turn up my nose at a tall glass of Karlovačko, hey especially if someone else is paying!
Ok, what would be worse for a Mariborčan:
a) admitting he likes Karlovačko
b) admitting he likes Union?
Hey, it is not ME who’d be doing the lap dancing
But you know… I know people who know people who know lap dancers who can shake that ass
I didn’t say it was YOU
So how long have you known her?
since i don’t drink beer, can i “joint” the lap dance
This whole discussion has become very AOL chat-roomish…
All that talk of lap dancing….
Please to follow me to the Re-Education Camp…
@had: We have a special programme for non-beer drinkers and I’m told it’s not pleasant
The paragraph spacing:
Use the margin property. Note that in Internet Explorer, it uses padding. So, to make it work in both browsers do this in your main CSS file.
p {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
That’ll give you 10 pixels worth of spacing at the bottom of each paragraph!
Words can’t express my disappointment that this blog is not up and running again in time for the Eurovision Song Contest
Hi!!I opened a blog with topic on adriatic-ionian problems. I write about relationships between eastern italian regions, eastern europe and, expecially, balkans. I hope u will enjoy.

i can only agree with omment number 25…
Jeez…. “Back in black” turning into “A whiter shade of pale”?
Nooo, of course not…. I’m sure Michael is devising some evil plan with Carniola 2.0 which will wipe out whatever free will I have left and will make me totally addicted to this blog, refreshing it constantly… Hm… Wait… I’m doing that now… OMG, it already happened
good song.
