    Yes, the original was between Americans and Canadians. Recycling jokes :) is quite common here, I actually heard many of the Mujo/Haso jokes in Turkey as part of their national jokes.

    That’s funny … we heard the original story in a church in Detroit … but it took us a while to get the point because we didn’t knew that a lighthouse is a “Leuchtturm” (literally it would be light-tower)

    I think the point of this version is modifying the common joke to local conditions. Hence, the Slovenian “battleship”, “the largest warship in the fleet” Mali Kekec armed with “ship-air-ground-ground-ground-air” missles, with CPT Janez Ibrahimović (recall the old joke about birth rates and Bosnian temp workers in Slovenia) commanding.

    Anyway, I found it funny.
