My computer never arrived; after two months of waiting for Godot, I got a full refund and went to Dobrovnik Media for a new one. Dobrovnik has now provided me with everything I need — praise be upon him. Now I just need to re-learn how computers and blogging work.

At any rate, Carniola is back in full effect and will continue posting, effective immediately.
