You may remember the meth-addled psychopaths of Pig Destroyer Studios from their earlier short film Tine Strela Goes to the Himalayas, dubbed "the most watched Slovenian film of the year" by Filmofil. (There was also a post about it here.)
Now they’ve released the "epic end of the trilogy," entitled The Olympic Flame. The special effects in this one have certainly gone up a notch, and the camerawork deserves an award for outstanding achievement in the field of excellence. I won’t reveal any details of the plot, but I will say that if you’ve ever wondered what my voice sounds like when it’s been heavily filtered and brought down an octave, pay attention to the Voice of God at the end.
What a great thing to have on one’s resume, isn’t it? "Voice of God." I’d like to get some business cards that have "voice of God" etched underneath my name. To be fair, though, the €50,000 they paid me was also pretty cool.
