tatjana pornic.jpg
Slovenian entreprenuer and amateur pornographer, Tatjana.

Sometimes
people, usually westerners, tell me that people in ex-communist
countries lack "entrepreneurial spirit." The easterlings, they say, are
too used to being taken care of by the government. They don’t have the
strong work ethic of, say, the French, with their rigorous 35-hour working
week. But, they concede, maybe the next generation — raised on a diet
of consumerism and material goods — will have the hunger of
ambition currently missing in their parents.

These people would be delighted to meet Tatjana, who is selling a homemade pornographic movie of herself on the Slovenian auction site, Bolha.
She’s young, she’s technically adept, she’s blonde, and she "urgently"
needs money. So what does she do? Does she cry to the government for
welfare support? No! She takes matters into her own hands (perhaps even
literally) by filming a nekkid movie of herself for one hour and thirty
minutes. She then sells it over the internet at 7000 SIT (30 euros) a
pop. It’s even in DVD format. See how wonderful technology can be if
you know how to exploit it for profit?

She even writes in her ad: se priporoÄ?am!
(I recommend it!) clearly revealing great market savvy. That’s pretty
much all she says about it. At not point does she actually say
specifically what the film contains. But, as Bill Cosby once pointed out, "The very first law in advertising is to avoid the concrete promise and cultivate the delightfully vague."

(Thanks Dejan!
