"Planinska cave" by Peter Gedei.

Peter Gedei, a photographer and spelunker, has put a gorgeous collection of cave photography online at Caves: Lighting up the Darkness. None of the photos (covering caves from across the country) have been digitally manipulated; they’re just naturally amazing.

His photos are currently being displayed in-the-flesh at Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana, until the 20th of March.

    I’ve always thought that the Lord of the Rings should have been filmed in Slovenia instead of New Zealand. At least where mountains and underground caves are concerned.

    I think the caves of Slovenia are the
    best but Luray caverns in Virginia arent
    bad either.
