A Slovene in Montenegro

Slovene_in_montenegro_joke

"Is something wrong?" "Get out!" (A Slovene in Montenegro)

I first heard this joke in Belgrade last year, and I enjoyed it. It’s nice to see it now in comic form. It’s a bit vulgar, so if you’re easily offended I wouldn’t recommend clicking on anything.

Everyone else can see the comic here:

(Thanks Bojan!)

I don’t get the joke at all.
Is there a connection between the woman and Podgorica?

The montenegro man wanted to make sure, that the man doesn’t have any interest in fiddling around with his wife.

I never saw this joke with the Slovenian/Montenegro connection. I think the original was the American in Mexico, or something.

Hey, Dr. Kruegell is right: I know three versions of this one (one is the Gringo in Mexico, the other is the tourist in Crete, the third is the Milanese in Sicily)!

And now the Slovene in Montenegro. Cool Zastava cabrio, by the way. LOL.

Hilarious. You should have a comic stirp a week, sort of like the comics in the Sunday newspapers…but keep the humor tending toward the adult version of things.

The first time I saw this 6 years ago, it was a German in Corsica :-)

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!

It’s a tradition here that the birthday boy pays for all the drinks, but unfortunately you’re all scattered all over the place, so my wallet will be spared…

A happy birthday from me as well, Michael! (in the nick of time, it seems; was away all day) A little more info on the cartoon joke : this one comes from a Belgian (yup, again; there HAS to be a Slovene- Belgian connection, I’m sure of it!) comic book series called ‘Burning Ears’, which is a collection of erotic jokes (some good, others definitely need Viagra), first published in the beginning of the ’90’s by a penciler named Dany (who has other titles on his name and is a well- known name in the graphic novel world here). The original joke actually takes place in Corsica, and the woman is the farmer’s daughter, going by the lovely name of Letizia. Life’s funny that way… I remember being in a Ljubljana pool hall in 2002 with my former girlfriend and a befriended couple, when I heard the Slovene version of a song by Dutch- Italian singer Marco Borsato, which was an incredible hit over here in ‘94. It takes time for stuff from the Northwest to travel down to the Southeast (I can attest to that, having traveled Belgium - Slovenija and back several times over the years), but it seems they always find their way. Hope the same will apply to me soon, without a return ticket this time…
