At the Slovenski radijski festival (Slovenian Radio Festival) last month, the award for the breast best song of 2004 went to the turbo-folk group Atomik Harmonik and their ubiquitous Brizgalna Brizga. (Not to rub it in or anything, but I told you so.)
My personal pick didn’t win. In fact, it didn’t even get nominated. It’s the gorgeously melancholic jazz tune September by Melodrom.
You know how people like to say that Italian is sexy? As in: "Ohmigod, if I ever learned a language, which I won’t because I can barely tie my own shoes unassisted, I think it would be Italian, because it’s like sexy and stuff!" Well, this song is proof positive that any language can be sexy, if it comes out of the right mouth. Give this a listen:
If you don’t think that’s sexy, I’ll give you 100 euros in cash, guaranteed, no questions asked.*
