In its first year, The Glory of Carniola gained a number of loyal readers.
This is my 300th post. It’s also been about a year since I started.
A single year may not sound like much, but it’s an eternity in weblog years. As a matter of fact, it’s triple the life expectancy of the average weblog. This survey by the Perseus Development Corp. shows that the average blog is abandoned after just four months and that the majority of existing ones haven’t been updated in the past sixty days. Also worth noting: the typical blogger is just a teenage dirtbag, baby. (51% are in the 13-19 age group.)
At any rate, I’m pleased to report that this blog is still going strong like Donkey Kong.
Thanks for reading.

Woohoo! Happy anniversary.
I sincerely hope you remember your wedding anniversary as dilligently as the blog anniversary. For your sake.
Mike’s hopefully not that kind of a geek. :>

He’s trying to send a trackback ping.
Thanks for the many well wishes — I appreciate them all.
Oh, and I’m definitely up for another siblogmeet.
I believe you and Andrej said it’s gonna be in Maribor! Go, go, go!
I’ll try to find Andrej — I’ve heard rumors that he died again. (But left behind a good-looking corpse.)
He posted! He’s alive!
