"My favorite animal" — quite possibly the best essay ever written.

The magnificent essay you see above, entitled Moja najljubša žival (My favorite animal) is short but brilliant. It reads:

"My favorite animal is a cat. I gave him the name MACO-FACO. He’s black and white. Yesterday my father ran over him with a tracter tractor."

As is often the case with genius, this masterpiece went unrecognized. The ignoramus teacher, who’s obviously never even heard of minimalism, writes at the bottom:

"Too little. (Introduction. Body. Conclusion.) You listen too little when others read."
