If you see a spectacular crash in Slovenia, you’re probably in Celje.
Someone once told me that people in Celje drove like extras from a Mad Max movie. It’s only lately that I’ve started to believe it. I don’t know how this car managed to flip itself over. All I know is that it happened near the exit for the A1 highway in Celje — Slovenia’s very own Bermuda triangle.
(See here and here for more Celje chaos.)
(Thanks Boštjan!)

Yes, you are right. But I didn’t expect danger from that direction. It’s not fair.
What’s even more spectacular about this crash photo is that the car that is flipped upside down is a police car. They make us pay for minor traffic misunderstandings - are we allowed to make them pay for their own law-breaking scenes?
Off topic! Thank you!
Years ago I once spent 1st of May in Celje. Everyone was driving around drunk and running red lights in their Yugos. It was the scariest thing. Ah, the crazy days of youth!
Around 1st of May or any other drunken holiday, I would reccommend staying off the roads. Especially Stajerska. No insult intended there guys, I am insulting 1/4 of my own blood here.
sex in Celje can be hazardous to
the health also. I thought the
men of Toronto were pigs but after
that story of Olena Popik. Thats
totally skanky and nasty
