Wouldn’t you prefer a nice game of chess?
I love chess, and I loved watching these two men play against each other in Umag. They played regularly, daily, and their games were quick and intense. The man on the right played quietly, usually using his feet to slide a piece into position. He also took small breaks to have a drink or chat with onlookers.
The man on the left played loudly, slamming pieces down and grunting when he did so. This is usually the sign of a bluffer, but in this case he had considerable talent — he won most of the matches they played.
