Josip Broz Tito and Natalija Verboten: A match made in heaven?
Slovenian superstar Natalija Verboten was just a little girl when Marshal Tito died in May 1980.1 But according to this site, which examines their astrological data, the two of them would have been perfect for each other. Verboten’s astrological chart is full of vague contradictions. She is "dependent"… but "independent." She’s "passionate"… but "practical." And she’s "resolute"… but "not patient enough." In other words, she is everything and its opposite simultaneously. (This is a great example of the Forer Effect, by the way.) Tito’s chart, meanwhile, casts him as a "man of iron will" and a "stonewaller" who has "fuzzy ideas" and "illusions." Basically, an ideal partner. After learning that, here is what the site2 says about Verboten and Tito as a couple:
Same "Passionate Force", love for systematic order, charisma (they both are good with people, that does not mean that they actually love people. For they both are rather individualistic, independent types.) Verboten’s Venus likes determination of Tito’s Mars. That’s one of the reasons Natalija Verboten tends to appreciate Marshal Tito more positively than the majority of population. And she’s also conservatively loyal to order (Tito is a symbol of that in her eyes).
Hmm. Although there’s no doubt that Tito liked women (a lot), I suppose we’ll never know if he died before he could meet his true soulmate…

1. Interesting sidenote: Verboten’s hometown, Velenje, changed its name to Titovo Velenje in 1981, in honor of Yugoslavia’s President-for-life, who had recently died. After Slovenia’s independence in 1991 the town, along with other places across Yugoslavia, reverted back to its old name. 2. Be careful wandering around the site. Clicking on the "see her grow" button will hijack your browser, if you’re using IE. If not, you’ll get this bizarre message.

Was that her real name?
Tsk tsk, Mike. Guess it’s time to boost those ratings, eh?
Verboten is her real name, as everything else!
There are 6 Verbotens in the telephone directory for Velenje.

She went to high-school in the same year as two friend of mine from Velenje (same generation, same class in American terms). It’s her real name.
I don’t know about the rest
The first time I heard the name “Verboten” I was sure it was a fake. It certainly sounds like more of a nom de guerre than “Tito” does.
Also, TGoC is always looking to maximize its ratings.. at any price and no matter what the damage. That’s why you’ll soon be seeing things like personalized horoscopes and the “Miss Glory of Carniola swimsuit competition.” (No, not really.)
Michael, it seems you have some mysterious, secret connections which help you find all that fantastic stuff. But I do not believe in Triglav. There has to be some world wide conspiracy at work here!

I saw the “lyrics” she sings (on that American site). I only pray they will not be translated into English. Especially because “This web site`s objective is to promote a great personality and talents of Natalija Verboten - the best Slovenian singer from Ljubljana, Slovenia.”
A.
Velenje has always been (from Tito`s time till now) one of the most red towns in Slovenia and one of Tito`s favourite.
Except omitting Titovo in its name nothing has been changed in Velenje. They still have Tito Square, a huge statue of Tito (Tito, thy name is another word for eternity… as a song from 1980s says) and numerous streets named after Slovenian revolutionaries, including the most cruel among them like KidriÄ?, Kardelj, Kraigher…
In that respect the situation in Slovenia is pretty much the same as in Russia.
Mikhail Gorbachev
In October 1917, we parted with the old world, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a new world, a world of Communism. We shall never turn off that road.

It`s ridiculous: we are in EU and in NATO but the Party still ruls!

Hi!
You are actually correct in that they (NV and Marshal Tito) both are controversial figures. And it does seem they both were made for each other. My objective is to bring as much as possible of evidence to support my claims. I think I need to do some historical research. And Velenje would be just the right place to start from.
Its just so sad that JOSIP BROZ TITO DIED.
