I’m glad they changed the name, but otherwise I don’t see too much difference. The nice clock is gone, and now there’s some sort of memorial at the far end of the square…

The war came through, the revolution didn`t.

Maybe I didn`t understand Doug Muir`s comment. I mean, we came through the war, while the revolution (in many ways) still lasts.

I think he probably meant to ask if there was any fighting or bombing in that part of the world.
there was a luftwaffe factory in maribor during the war and the city was a target for allies. it was bombed a few times. i dont know how much.
The clouds look different too!
Our towns survived the war practically intact.Maybe the occupation wasn`t so terrible as we have always been taught, after all?
