Lost in Transit

The Glory of Carniola has joined another collaborative weblog.

Lost in Transit is a popular forum for erotic Gilligan’s Island fan-fiction. At least it used to be. In 1998, Miguel, alias “the Professor,” bought the domain for a record $56.3 million. Shortly thereafter the tech bubble burst and the value plummeted 237%. Broken and demoralized, Mig turned to Jaegermeister breakfasts and obsessive dart throwing.

But his star would rise again. In cooperation with Odoreaters International, he transformed Lost in Transit into a weblog for expatriates around the world. Last year, it grossed $243 million, of which the majority went to supporting Mig’s expensive tastes, which run from gold-plated suits to all-you-can-eat caviar buffets.

TGoC is proud to join this prosperous union of ex-pats and hopes the future will be bright and full of pain. (The good kind of pain, though.)

Also: Living in Europe seems to be working on a Slovenia section, so if you’re a Slovenian blogger get thee to a nunnery go check it out.
