Archives for April 10th, 2004

I wanted to mention two recent posts about Slovenia and Laibach.

The first is by the stunningly prolific Randy McDonald, who has managed to put together a fantastic post about Laibach and Slovenia. Slovenes are usually impressed if someone has heard of their country, so I can’t imagine how they’d react to McDonald, a Canadian who probably knows more about Slovenia than many Slovenes. It’s a great read.

The second post is by the equally prolific Mihalis Panagiotakis, a self-confessed fan of Laibach, who has written a quick post about them. In his post, he helpfully points to Laibach’s cover of “Sympathy for the Devil” which is well worth the download.
