I intended on posting something else for today, but I keep thinking about Madrid and in particular one quote from a survivor named Ana Maria, who said she “saw a baby torn to bits.”

It’s difficult to imagine how many people are living an unending nightmare in Madrid right now. And it’s equally difficult to imagine why some people were so eager to inflict it upon them. I only hope that Ana Maria and everyone else suffering right now can find some peace in the future.
