Doors and Windows of Western Kosovo

The door of a traditional Kosovar-Albanian home.

Amazing what you can find online. Until recently, I never would have guessed that there was a Survey of Doors and Windows in western Kosovo online. Now I know there is.

During the Kosovo war, a significant number of buildings were damaged — around 80%, according to the link above. The site is a preservation attempt of sorts by Sahar Rassam of the United Nations Mission In Kosovo.

It’s basically what it says it is: a small catalogue of traditional doors and windows from the western part of the province.
