Another brick in the wall. Ljubim te is Slovene for “I love you”

In Montmartre, Paris, a French artist has constructed a 40 m2 wall consisting of 511 tiles. On the tiles are the words “I love you” written more than a thousand times in 300 languages. And as you can see by the picture above, Slovene is there. (The phrase below it, Ik Hou Van Jou, is Dutch.)

If you go to the official site, LE MUR DES JE T’AIME, (The Wall of I Love Yous) you can take a neat panoramic tour of the wall. (Quicktime required) You can also listen to how “I love you” is pronounced in a number of different languages, including Slovene. You never know when you’ll need one of them, so it’s probably better to just learn them all.
